Deer-Clans

These four sculptures are a unity. Each one represents one of the main directions. The deer is a synonym for the hoofed animals (antelopes, horses etc.)

According to the course of the sun this group starts in the east, where the sun rises and the people founded the first civilization.The color of this first sculpture is yellow.

Clockwise the next direction is the south, where the sun reaches the zenith and the first metals were processed. Black is the color for the continent Africa.

The west where the sun sets, represents the North- and South Americas

and the spirituality. Its color is red.

White is a symbol for the north and the long winters, in which the sun is not visible. It represents Europe and the technology.
